It is a gigantic bucolic painting that will be animated this summer at Parc de La Villette! The Flemish Collective Captain Boomer, who surprised us with the hyper-realistic whale (2017) and the mysterious visit of the Grand Palais (2018), returns with a new offbeat project.
All of a sudden, the boundaries are blurred between art and reality, between the city and the countryside. Like a real painting, it stops time and carries away the audience. One is invited to sit on the edges of the frame and question one’s own representations. The majestic rhythm of the cows is soothing and provokes the mind.
Welcome to a world of bucolic joy, with our two new mascots, Tulipe and Vache-qui-Rit!
