Italian choreographer Silvia Gribaudi, known for her delicious sabotage of stereotypes, reserves moments of pure comedy with R. OSA. At once a revolution of the body, a rebellion against gravity and an ode to lightness, this performance will not leave you unscathed. The breathtaking Claudia Marsicano delivers a one-woman show consisting of ten virtuoso exercises. With her curves worn in the most natural way, her voice and graceful gestures, she evokes a state of innocence where social codes have no say and where the feminine ideal is not limited to a single body type. How can you resist her mischievous addresses, her enchanting glibness and her boundless freedom? Inspired as much by the paintings of Fernando Botero as by Jane Fonda's clips from the 80s, Silvia Gribaudi's R. OSA is an irresistible solo, in which the verb DARE is expressed in feminine colors.
In the press
In R. OSA by Silvia Gribaudi, Claudia Marsicano captures all the lightness, freedom and disturbing desire of betting on her cumbersome physique with a performance of dizzying virtuosity.
